Child and Youth
Intensive Family Support (IFS) programs provide case management support to families at risk of entering the statutory child protection system. The IFS services accepts eligible referrals from the Family and Child Connect, Department of Child Safety, prescribed entities, community agencies and self-referrals from families. Family and Child Connect (FaCC) is a Queensland government initiative that endeavours to provide advice, information and/ or referrals to any person/s interested in the safety and wellbeing of children and families. The Early Education Program (EEP) is a unique educational intervention service for children who struggle to attain skills necessary to start school as a result of abuse or neglect. The SafeKIDS Program is a partnership between Traditional Owners and Act for Kids, and aims to keep kids in their local community.
