The Diabetes and Endocrinology Department is located on Level 1 at Burke Street. The Outpatient Department provides services to patients with diabetes and endocrinology diseases. Patient care focuses on an integrated multidisciplinary approach encompassing the service of Endocrinologist, Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Educators, Dietitian, Psychologist and Podiatrist. A consultation service to all Units within the Princess Alexandra Hospital is provided in relation to diabetic care and complex endocrine disorders. The Outpatient department currently offers the following clinics weekly: 3 Diabetic clinics 2 General Endocrine clinics 1 Bone and Menopause clinic 1 Weight loss clinic 1 Diabetic foot clinic
