Cardiac rehabilitation is an important part of the recovery phase following a heart (cardiac) event. Dalby Health Service provides a comprehensive education and exercise program enabling clients and their families to adapt and maintain positive lifestyle changes to better their heart health. Cardiac Rehab service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including: Cardiac Rehab Coordinator, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietician, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker and Pharmacist.
Phase 2 - 6 week exercise program Tues 9 - 10am
6 week program educaion sessions follow exercise session 10.15 - 11 topics include Heart Disease & Risk Factors, Conserving Energy and return to work, Healthy Eating, goal setting and importance of sleep, emotional wellbeing and medications.
Phase 3 - 6 week program after completing 6 week Phase 2 cardiac rehab program
