Welfare Services
Education Services - Clemente is a free university program offered to people who've experiences hardship and would like to improve their skills in a supportive and gently learning community. Students will study a Certificate of Liberal Arts with access to 4 university subjects from the field of arts and humanities. The program is held in two locations - South Brisbane and Banyo and delivered through partnerships with Australian Catholic University, Sisters of Mercy Congregation, Micah and Common Ground Queensland.

No referral required. Appointment required. No waiting list. Not Applicable
To apply, you must be able to: - commit to 4 hours attendance each week for a 12 week program - write a paragraph - read and discuss a newspaper article This program is intended to support community members who have missed education as a result of hardship. They may be returning to study after a period of disconnection or isolated and seeking to be part of a learning community.

Female staff available
There is no cost for students. HECS fees are waived and all lunches and required resources provided. Volunteer Learning Partners assist students in all aspects of study that include technology use, accessing online materials and assessment tasks.
