Zillmere Youth and Community Combined Action (YACCA) is a crime prevention program funded by the Department of Communities to work with young people in Zillmere and surrounding suburbs. YACCA works with young people (10 - 17 years) and their community to deliver strategies that prevent young peoples involvement in crime. Zillmere YACCA does this by providing social, personal and recreational programs, information to young people and the community, school activities, and by networking with other organisations and government bodies to contribute to a community response to crime. The service provides general information to young people. Referrals are also made to appropriate services depending on young person's needs.
