Families are encouraged to attend regular child health checks. By providing early intervention and prevention services at the right time, the service aims to ensure that infants, toddler and young people are nurtured, safe and able to realise their full potential.
Our dedicated team of Child and Youth Health professionals offer:
Early feeding and nutrition support.
Sleep support and education.
Health surveillance and screening.
Family support through counselling and parenting groups to enhance parenting.
PND screening, support and referral.
Remember to bring your child’s Personal Health Record Book to every visit.
Mums & Bubs
Child Health Nurses offer Families one home visit in the first month following birth. This may include the 0-4 week health check.
