Dysart Special Education Unit is coded IF, meaning we cater for students with an intellectual impairment and an intellectual impairment/autistic spectrum disorder from 6 years of age to the end point of schooling. This is possible by having a campus at both the primary and the high school. By including and valuing these students we are committed to providing equitable educational opportunities to ensure that students with disabilities have access to, participate in, and gain positive outcomes from schooling through a range of curriculum options. Our inclusive curriculum attempts to meet the learning needs of all students in our school by valuing and responding to the learning styles of students with a disability.
