Self Help and Support Group
Livewire Online is for young people aged 12-20 years living in Australia or New Zealand with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability, and their siblings, to connect, socialise, have fun and creatively express themselves. It’s a safe online community that is moderated by Chat Hosts who promote positive distraction and peer to peer connection.
A place where people just get it. When you’re a teenager living with illness or disability, people don’t always get what you’re going through – and it can be hard for siblings too. That’s why we’ve created Livewire: a community for young people like you, who are dealing with tricky stuff and can do with some extra support from crew who understand.
Our Livewire Chat Hosts are online from 12pm-12am weekdays and 9am-12am weekends. There’s never any judgment so it’s a safe space for everyone.
