Social Work
Social Work is a profession that supports individuals, families, groups and communities to improve their well-being. Western Cluster Social Workers are trained to assist you to identify and clarify your own solutions to a wide range of issues. These issues may be encountered in your daily life and have a significant negative impact on your health. Social Workers do not give direct advice. Through therapeutic interventions you are assisted to explore your options for change, allowing you to make informed decisions and strive to reach your own solutions. Each session with a Social Worker is based on the individual client’s issues and circumstances and is completely confidential. Our Western Cluster Social Work team work from health clinics/hospitals in: Oakey, Dalby, Tara, Jandowae, Chinchilla, Miles, Wandoan and Taroom townships.
