A Minor Injury and Illness Clinic operates at Bribie Island Satellite Health Centre, from 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week. The clinic will provide walk-in urgent care for illnesses and injuries not anticipated to be life-threatening in nature. Minor Injury and Illness Clinic’s provide services including: • onsite x-ray • ECG • wound care • plastering and limb immobilisation. Patients with non-urgent needs should first contact their usual GP where possible. Service exclusions: • Children under 3 months • Pregnancy related issues • Chest Pain • Acute Abdo Pain (minimal diagnostic tools) • Head injury with loss of consciousness or acute signs of concussion • Complex or emergency care • Routine management of chronic conditions (script renewals, management plans, medical certificates) • Mental Health • Stomal care/Medical device troubleshooting
