For non-life threatening injury or illness, you can walk into the Minor Accident & Illness Centre (urgent care centre) 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm to be triaged by emergency-trained clinical nurses and seen by general practitioners.
Minor Accident & Illness Centre can manage many conditions including:
- Minor Fractures & Broken Bones
- Sprains & Strains
- Dislocations
- Sports injuries
- Eye & Ear injuries
- Nausea & Vomiting
- Lacerations/ Cuts/ Abrasions
- Minor burns
For life-threatening injuries or illness please present to your local emergency department or call 000.
Service exclusions:
- Life threatening presentations
- Major trauma
- Possible sepsis
- Acute severe pain
- Suspected stroke
- Seizures
- Moderate or severe head injury
- Open fractures
- Acute mental health
- Spinal trauma

To be eligible for bulk billing, patients must hold a valid Medicare card. Patients who are eligible for bulk billing will be asked to present their Medicare card at the time of their consultation.
Bulk billing covers the following services provided by the urgent care centre:
- Consultation with a general practitioner or nurse practitioner
- Minor surgical procedures, including wound repair and removal of foreign bodies
