The Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Service program is provided at the The Josephine Sailor Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Service building located on the Kirwan Health Campus. The AIUDS provides a service to young people from North and Far North Queensland. The Adolescent Inpatient Unit is a purpose built 8 bed unit dedicated to the provision of mental health care to adolescents aged between 12 and 18 years of age and their families. The Unit is co-located with the Adolescent Day Services programme and has dedicated therapy and outdoor areas.
