Helpful Ways is an outreach support and training service in North Brisbane. By offering a mobile service, the aim is to deliver counselling support in a person's home, and reduce the wait time to access professional help in times of need. There are 3 service types delivered by Helpful Ways that include Counselling Supports: Anxiety Depression General Support Mental Health Men's health and ageing Other issues NDIS Capacity Building (for people that have lived experience with physical, intellectual, psychological and ASD challenges) Therapeutic Supports & Innovative Community Participation Professional Development and Community Training: Mental Health First Aid (Face to face, Blended, Online) All services are delivered by a professionally registered and accredited counsellor specialising in the area of strengths based approach for emotional, behavioural and wellbeing supports. Helpful Ways is community focused and provides services to all people.
