A Minor Injury and Illness Clinic operates at Caloundra Health Service, from 8:00am to 7:00pm, seven days a week. The clinic is designed to treat patients whose needs are non-life threatening.
Service exclusions:
• Children under 3 months
• Pregnancy related issues
• Chest Pain
• Acute Abdo Pain (minimal diagnostic tools)
• Head injury with loss of consciousness or acute signs of concussion
• Complex or emergency care
• Routine management of chronic conditions (script renewals, management plans, medical certificates)
• Mental Health
• Stomal care/Medical device troubleshooting
