Aid & Recreational Association for the Disabled is a voluntary organisation offering people with disabilities opportunities to participate in a variety of activities for social interaction and to gain skills to assist with independent living. Activities on Mon & Fri are based at their centre and these include cooking, craft and wood work. Activities on Wed are usually social trips to the movies, ten pin bowling, BBQ, indoor games etc. Approximately 5 - 6 times per year, a full day bus trip is organised usually for a Sunday.
Evenings consisit of social bingo, slide nights and an evening dinner meeting at one of the local social club.
