Better Together Community Support offers a range of community services to the Atherton Tablelands community, including counselling for families, children, young people and people with alcohol and other drugs issues as well as a range of government-funded services targeted at providing support for families in stress. We can provide basic home maintenance and minor modifications for eligible clients under the Commonwealth Home Support Program. Clients are required to be registered with My Aged Care. We provide assistance to maintain your home in a safe condition e.g. ramp installation, shower handles, tap tightening, fire alarms. Consumers may have to pay a gap if services are not fully funded. We also function as a Drop-in Community Centre with Emergency Relief Services, Personal Support, Tax Help and Meeting Rooms.
