We collaborate with healthdirect Australia to deliver Medicines Line, a telephone service providing consumers with information on prescription, over-the-counter and complementary (herbal, ‘natural’, vitamin and mineral) medicines.
National Prescribing Service Ltd (NPS) is the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) service agency for Australia's National Medicines Policy.
The (QUM) service involves selecting management options wisely; choosing suitable medicines if a medicine is considered necessary; and using medicines safely and effectively.
Provide accurate, balanced, evidence-based information and services to help people choose if, when and how to use medicines to improve their health and wellbeing. Users can download PDF descriptions of medications.
