The Mackay Alcohol & Other Drugs Service (AODS) provides a specialist service. Individuals directly or indirectly affected by their own or another’s alcohol and/or drug use can access a comprehensive alcohol and drug assessment and a range of specialist interventions.
Conditions we treat:
• Substance use disorder
• Alcohol use
• Drug use
• Co-occurring alcohol and drug and mental health disorders.
Services Offered – Assessment, counselling support and referral, opioid substation program and access to the needle and syringe program.
In addition, clients may contact the 24 hour Alcohol and Drug telephone information service on 1800 177 833 which is staffed by a team of professionals who can provide confidential telephone counselling, information and referral for people with concerns about their own or someone else’s alcohol and/or drug use.
Closed between 12pm and 1pm.
Opens 9:30 am Wednesday
