Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Hospital
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit acknowledges and pays respect to the Aboriginal Traditional Owners and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, people, consumers, and staff, past, present and future, on whose land we provide health services. What does the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit do? We ensure the development and delivery of culturally appropriate services and models of health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families by providing support, advice and direction to Queensland Health staff of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
