The Child and Youth Mental Health Service provides a free service to children and young people aged 0-18 who have severe and complex mental health problems and who live in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service District. As a specialist team we work with children and young people who are experiencing: •Emotional problems such as severe anxiety and / or depression which may include disturbances of eating, sleeping, thinking, self- harming behaviour, thoughts and fears or withdrawal •Severe behavioural problems which cause disruption to family and interpersonal relationships •Symptoms of severe mental health problems, such as hallucinations, confused or delusional thinking, obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviour Access and Referral directly to service
