Welfare Services
The Roma Community Hub is the central location for many essential social services in the Maranoa. Located between Council’s Roma Customer Service Centre and the Roma Recreation Centre (Maranoa PCYC), the facility houses both Council services and community service organisation offices. The St Vincent De Paul Society, the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network and Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland currently operate from the Hub via appointment only. The facility supports community organisations by offering greater coordination between service providers, ensuring clients are able to access the best service possible, within available resources. Community groups are welcome to book meeting rooms and facilities for their use free of charge. Closed Between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
