Dial a Local Doctor is an after hours accredited medical deputising service currently being offered in QLD and NSW, operated by qualified and experienced doctors, we provide after hours medical attention in people's
homes when their own GPs are not available.
This service offers incredible value to the communities in which they operate. Areas include Redcliffe,Hervery Bay,All of Mackay,Toowoomba & Gold Coast (only on Sat & Sun),Andergrove,Breaconsfild,Blacks Beach,Bucasia,Crimmond,Dolphin Head,Emeo, Erakala,Foulden,Glenella,Habanna, MtPleasant,Nindaroo,Oorala,Paget,Racecourse,Richmond Rural View, Shellpoint,Slade point & Walkerston.
The service is 100% FREE to any patient with a valid and current Medicare Card.

100% Bulk Billed to valid Medicare card holders $185 appointment fee to someone who does not hold a Medicare card.

Male and Female doctors are available dependant on roster.
Dial A Local Doctor practitioners are able to provide medications in limited amounts (starter pack) with prescriptions provided should the client's regular doctor not be available the following day (on weekends, for instance).
Each time a Dial A Local Doctor practitioner visits a patient, he or she will refer the patient back to their usual doctor for follow up. Current partner
medical practices report significant increases in patients attending to
their surgeries for follow up and on-going care.
