Mackay Homecare Dementia Service provides services to people with a diagnosis of dementia or related illness. Available services include Dementia management/care; Education; Information and Advocacy; Music therapy; Personal Care; Respite Care (in home) and Transport services. The Centre features A Home Club option of carers available - small group 4 - 6 people. It is Dementia Specific and held in a safe environment away from home. This service can be provided through referrals from health professional or self referrals. This service will also refer to other services needed to enhance quality of life.
