CheckUP Australia -
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health
CheckUP is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to better health for people and communities who need it most. We work with our partner organisations and health providers to create healthier communities and reduce health inequities. Through our current range of health programs and initiatives, CheckUP has an established footprint in 190 communities across Queensland.
Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, CheckUP leads a strong, effective consortium delivering outreach services to urban, rural and remote locations and high-need populations throughout Queensland.
We aim to increase access to medical specialist, GP and allied health professional services in urban, regional, rural and remote locations throughout Queensland, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
