Lower Burdekin Home for the Aged Society is a ‘not for profit’, Community based Incorporation providing residential aged care accommodation since 1971. Our purpose is to provide aged care as defined in the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth) within the boundaries of the Shire of Burdekin in the State of Queensland and to promote the welfare of aged persons within the Shire of the Burdekin. Currently the Society operates two campuses in Ayr and Home Hill offering selected services in sub-acute and acute residential aged care and specialized secured dementia at our Home Hill Campus.
