The Infant Massage Information Service (IMIS), is a training and support organisation dedicated to providing comprehensive infant massage training.
Established in 2000, IMIS has been at the forefront of ensuring that individuals receive professional training encompassing the latest research and effective techniques in infant massage. Our commitment extends beyond training; we also offer valuable support services to professionals who utilise baby massage as a tool to assist and nurture new families.
Our mission is to serve as a hub for information on paediatric massage, offering recommendations, fact sheets, certificate training, and support on various matters related to massage for infants and children.
Our programs cater to health, allied health professionals, educators and community support workers, providing in-depth insights into massage and touch therapy for a range of scenarios. Whether it's addressing the needs of preterm and low birth weight infants or assisting with common challenges such as wind, constipation, reflux, and sleeping difficulties, IMIS is dedicated to equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive impact on the well-being of infants and their families.
