When your regular GP is closed, Hello Home Doctor Service delivers trusted after-hours medical care directly to your home, residential aged care facility, or retirement village.
We are a fully accredited Medical Deputising Service and provider of after-hours medical services, delivering after-hours GP home visits and home-based medical care across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, and South Australia. We work in partnership with local general practices to ensure continuity of care.
We support patients, aged care residents, general practices, residential aged care facilities (RACFs), and other healthcare providers by delivering after-hours medical services on behalf of regular GPs when clinics are closed.
Following each consultation, a clinical report is sent to the patient’s regular GP, helping maintain safe, seamless, and coordinated ongoing healthcare.
Our service provides after-hours GP home visits and house-call doctor services across metropolitan and regional areas, helping maintain continuity of care within established healthcare arrangements.

🕒 After-Hours Consultation Periods
Our after-hours doctor service operates during the following times:
• Weeknights: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekends: From 12:00 PM (midday) Saturday to 8:00 AM Monday
• Sundays & Public Holidays: 24 hours
Our call centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays, so you can request care at any time.
💳 Billing & Eligibility
• We bulk bill eligible patients* with a valid Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card for home visits and telehealth consultations.
• Overseas students with recognised private health insurance (e.g. OSHC with BUPA or Medibank) may also be eligible for bulk billing.
• Patients without Medicare, DVA, or accepted private health cover will be advised of the applicable service fee at the time of booking.
