Chronic Disease management
Endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics (EPPCs) aim to enable accessible endometriosis care and management, leading to improved diagnosis timeframes and appropriate pain management for impacted patients. The clinics will be funded to provide care, support, treatment and management of symptoms associated with menopause, including throughout the menopause transition (perimenopause) and post-menopause. Clinics generally have a dedicated GP-led multidisciplinary team with expertise in the management of Endometriosis and Pelvic pain. Online bookings for this clinic are not available. Can accept direct patient referrals using our referral form and referrals from other GP clinics or health professionals via Medical Objects. Specific inclusion criteria for this clinic are: A previous diagnosis of endometriosis with pain that is not adequately managed, or possible symptoms of endometriosis that have not been fully investigated. Persistent pelvic pain for more than 5 days per month that has not been fully investigated or is not managed by your existing healthcare team which may include your GP, physiotherapist and other specialists/ allied health providers. If the client would like to be seen at the clinic (in person or by Telehealth for those don’t live nearby), they can email the clinic at info@neighbourhoodmedical.com.au and they will send you an information leaflet and referral form. This includes information on any fees to expect. The first visit with the nurse has no out of pocket cost attached. Subsequent GP visits incur a cost. Onsite undercover carparking in the same building as the clinic. Entry to the carpark is via Leworthy Street. Dedicated parking is available on the same floor so clients can easily walk through to Neighbourhood Medical. The lower carpark floor is accessed via a flight of stairs.
