Xavier Place, is a welcoming home-away-from-home for respite, care and support for children and young people with physical disability. Xavier Place is a purpose built, 6 bed, short term accommodation located in the Brisbane suburb of Yeerongpilly.
At Xavier Place, guests get the care and support they need, while making friends of their own age and experiencing some independence. Xavier Place offers:
• Registered Nurse on-site full time
• staff are trained by OTs & RNs
• full program of fun activities that are age appropriate
• overnight wake and sleep shifts for the safety of your child
• each room has hi-lo bed & ceiling hoist
• sensory room
• indoor and outdoor relaxation and play spaces
• on-site coordinator
• state-of-the-art security
• emergency respite
