Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility is a health service within the Townsville Health Service District and is supported by the Institute of Primary Health and Ambulatory Care. This facility provides service delivery to 70 residents and the structural design includes:40-bed HLC unit (McCarthy Wing). 20-bed Dementia unit (Nautilus Wing). 10-bed Aged Care Mental Health Unit (Pandora Wing). The facility is at the Kirwan Health Campus and complements the co-located Community Health and residential Mental Health Services.The Parklands RACF provides a quality of care service within the Townsville Health Service District to the aged. We strive to provide quality care services, privacy and dignity for all residents. Staff aim to create and support an independent lifestyle and freedom of choice in a safe and homelike environment for residents.
The Parklands RACF wishes to maintain a quality social lifestyle for residents including friends, family members and community services.
