RAPID is a free, rapid HIV & STI testing service staffed by trained community members who understand the diverse communities of men who have sex with men. We're also a safe place for women, transgender and gender-diverse people. RAPID staff are not doctors or nurses, and we do not take a sexual history or document your sexual behaviour or injecting practices.
We simply offer rapid HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing “without the full Q&A.”
You will still have an opportunity to ask questions and explore risk reduction strategies with a RAPID staff member who has a lot of knowledge about HIV and sexual health, and who will respect your situation. All staff are trained to support clients in a culturally respectful and appropriate manner, with regular review and retraining.

This is a free service.
While the service is free, we do appreciate donations to help us continue testing for more people. The average amount given is $43.

We use the Queensland Public Health NGO Interpreter Service to engage interpreters for clients with limited English. As they cannot guarantee that an interpreter is available, please advise by email or phone call 1-2 days in advance if an interpreter is required.
