Dr Phil Jacobs studied at the University of Queensland and graduated in Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 1994.
He commenced his career as a Senior Dentist with Queensland Health and NSW Health before working in private practice on the Gold Coast, practising initially in the Northern Gold Coast area and later on the Isle of Capri.
Being a perfectionist by nature the only path was to own a dental practice built around his vision to provide the very best in service and clinical care. Hope Island Dental Care was opened in May 2003 – a beautiful practice in a beautiful location. Dr Jacobs enjoys the craft of dentistry – and the technical aspects – he is fond of adding new technology and perfecting the process. But most importantly as a people profession he loves to connect with patients, building long-standing relationships.
He has recently become a founding member of the digitial dentistry study club as we enter an exciting new era in cad cam technology and embrace a fundamental shift in the techniques of dentistry.
As a dedicated professional, Dr Jacobs keeps himself well informed regarding the latest advances in dentistry via seminars and courses. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Phil Jacobs is registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
