Self Help and Support Group, HCC - Allied Health
Breast Cancer Support Service - Sunshine Coast is provided by trained volunteers - women who have previously had treatment for breast cancer. The BCSS gives a woman newly diagnosed with breast cancer an opportunity to speak to someone who has had a similar experience. Where possible, women are matched with a volunteer according to age and type of treatment, or it may be that a woman wishes to hear of another's experience with breast reconstruction. The BCSS is a free and confidential service where volunteers provide information and support - they do not give medical advice. The volunteers will call you at a time and place that is suitable to your needs.
