Suncoast Care provides assistance to people experiencing food insecurity or in need of assistance to get them on their feet again, through our low-cost food outlet and a variety of other services. The food outlet is open to anyone experiencing financial difficulty and is open Mon to Fri 9am to 3 pm and until 6pm on a Thursday night.
As a welfare agency we can provide food vouchers for use at our low-cost food outlet and limited financial assistance with utility bills, car rego, rent, phone bills etc. To receive financial assistance an appointment is needed with our Community Support Team. These appointments are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 2pm and can be arranged by coming into the store or by calling 07 5441 4877.
We also operate a meal kitchen, known as 'The Daily Bread', on Monday and Wednesday nights at 10 Sydney Street Nambour from 4:30pm till 6pm serving a hot 2 course meal.
