Queensland Health Sleep Disorders Program is a statewide clinical scheme that manages the treatment of patients with sleep apnoea/hypopnea syndrome. It is administered from Metro North but clients are directed to the centre closest to them. Services include equipment provision, clinical follow-up and monitoring of adequate usage of equipment. CPAP devices are provided on long- term loan to eligible patients through nine Sleep Disorders Prescriber Centres at Queensland Children's Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital, Mater Public Health Services, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, The Townsville Hospital and Cairns Hospital.

Resident in Queensland, holder of Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card (or as a listed dependant of the cardholder), Diagnosed with significant SAHS, be able to purchase their own device accessories and able to demonstrate adequate usage of a self funded rental device during a min. 2 month in-home treatment trial.
