Needle and Syringe Programs (NSP) are a public health measure to reduce the spread of blood borne viral infection like HIV and hepatitis C amongst people who inject drugs. Needle and Syringe Program provides a range of services including the provision of sterile injecting equipment, education and information on blood borne viral infections, transmission and risk behaviours, safer drug use and injecting health. Referrals for drug treatment, medical, legal and social services are also offered by NSP's AH Needle Dispensing Machine.
