Community rent scheme is administered by Dept of Housing. This is a rent subsidy scheme. Service is funded to provide short to medium term accommodation to public housing applicants in severe and immediate housing need. Target groups of the scheme are: Young people, Aboriginal Peoples, People with a disability, Single people & women & children affected by domestic violence
