selectability is one of regional Queensland's largest providers of mental wellbeing services and NDIS psychosocial support. We have a proud and respected record of over 30 years' service delivery across the region. selectability works with mainstream and community services, along with health practitioners to ensure consumers establish and maintain these important connections to support their recovery. NDIS support coordination: Key to our service offering is NDIS support coordination. We appreciate the unique and often challenging pathway each individual has travelled to achieve their NDIS Plan. Our support coordinators don’t just help consumers to identify and access services to meet their individual needs, they go that extra mile to think outside the square to get people closer to their goals. We work closely with consumers to help them navigate the NDIS and interpret individual packages. NDIS community support (individual): Our Lifestyle Support Workers use a recovery-oriented. person-centred approach to help consumers build personal skills, develop relationships and improve their wellbeing. We support our consumers to connect with mainstream care services, establish important links within the community and build life skills. Our flexible one-on-one service allows consumers to determine how they receive their supports, how they will build on their abilities and how they will live their life. NDIS community support (group) selectability offers inclusive group supports designed to increase social participation, develop new skills, build capacity and strengthen community connections in social and peer environments. Our team regularly introduces new activities in line with the needs of our consumers. Clubhouses: offer a peer-supported setting that allows members to build confidence, make friends and access education and employment opportunities. They holistic program of activities designed to help members in their recovery. Members undertake various tasks to maintain the Clubhouse including cooking, cleaning and yard maintenance. This helps to enhance personal skills and build independence. Our life coaches work with members to ensure they have the tools, resilience and access to resources they need to live the life of their choice. We have a number of NDIS membership packages to align with individual goals. We are proud to partner with the state and federal governments to deliver essential mental wellbeing services to those not eligible for the NDIS. The programs include: selectwellbeing: a selectability designed individual and group support program, based on a stepped care model. Funded through Queensland Health, selectwellbeing provides consumers with up to 12 months of individual and group support. This is available in the Townsville and North West Hospital & Health Service areas. (All referrals should come via Queensland Health). Mental Health Hubs: this is an innovative program to improve access to mental wellbeing for individuals in the Townsville and Mackay regions. Funded through the NQPHN, the mental health hubs bring together existing networks, technology, community partnerships and program delivered after hours, to provide a flexible responsive and inclusive recover option. (Self-referrals are accepted). Suicide pevention: selectability is proud to implement the Townsville Suicide Prevention Network. This group is dedicated to developing outcome driven strategies for the prevention of suicide across the regions.
