Counselling Programs
1. 1800 4 WOMEN (see opening hours below for extended hours)
1800 4 WOMEN provides free phone and video counselling for women and girls aged 12+ living in Queensland. The service is confidential, non-judgemental, and does not require a referral.
You’ll speak with the same qualified counsellor or midwife, with appointment times that suit you. There’s no need to travel, and the service is completely free.
1800 4 WOMEN offers support with:
Non-crisis mental health support
Grief and loss counselling following miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death
Midwifery support and advice
Specialist domestic, family, and sexual violence counselling
Referrals to additional support services
2. Healing and Recovery Counselling (Monday - Friday 9am - 4.30pm)
This program provides recovery-focused counselling, therapeutic group programs, and case management for women and gender-diverse people who have experienced gender-based violence and are living in Brisbane. Please note that this is not a crisis service.
