Zero to Four Child and Youth Mental Health Service (0-4 CYMHS) is a collaborative infant and early childhood mental health program with a multi-agency focus to service delivery.
0 - 4 CYMHS is a prevention and early intervention program which works in partnership with families who have infants or young children up to 5 years who are not yet at school, who have severe and complex needs.
These families are typically those who are experiencing parent-infant relationship or attachment difficulties as a result of:
Parental mental health disorders,
Substance and alcohol abuse,
Inter-generational issues of childhood, abuse and neglect,
Domestic violence,
Parental or child intellectual or physical impairment.
A referral from a primary provider is necessary to access this service.
