This is a Dementia Specific Respite Centre. The centre can provide care for 15 people per day. Catering for people with dementia and their carers.
The centre is supported by a team of specialists, including:
physiotherapists
podiatrists
speech therapist
occupational therapist
social workers
The centre is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It provides both a day program and overnight respite. It is closed on public holidays.
An 11-seat bus is available to transport the client to and from the centre. The bus can pick up clients from their homes or another designated area between 8:30am - 10am, and will return the client between 2.45pm - 4pm.
