Eligibility

Referral required. No appointment required. No waiting list.
Aged Care residents who are seeking funded supported Aged Care services must be assessed as eligible by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cwth). Bolton Clarke also offers self-funded Aged Care respite and recuperative care services to residents who have not been assessed by ACAT. Retirement Living residents are required to be a minimum of 65 years old but the scheme operator may approve residents who are not yet 65. Applications for persons not meeting the minimum age are considered on a case by case basis.

To find out if you’re eligible for residential aged care funding from the Australian Government, you’ll need an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment.
