Service Description The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Service acts as a cultural link between health professionals and Indigenous patients and their families. The Liaison Officer assists in breaking down any perceived barriers of communication so that Indigenous patients and/or their families have a better understanding of their hospitalisation and treatment.
