* Medicare Mental Health Centres will offer access to lived experience peer workers who can provide specialised, compassionate, and understanding support during challenging times, together with a team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and nurses.
* Support will become available in person at all sites, as well as via phone or video. We work with individuals to provide the right mental health support that lets them decide what they need on their recovery journey, including: Lived experience peer support, Community group sessions, Education, Navigation to other available services, Alcohol and drug support, Psychological therapy, counselling, or medication management.
* Medicare Mental Health Centres do not offer long-term support but provide immediate, short and medium-term care, and connect people to the most appropriate services for ongoing needs.
