Mareeba Community Rent Scheme is funded under a Queensland Government program administered by the Dept of Housing. Mareeba CRS provides short to medium term accommodation to public housing applicants. The scheme targets people on the public housing waiting list who have an immediate housing need. The target groups are: young people; Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people; People with a disability; single people; and women & children affected by domestic violence.
