Mackay North Special Education Unit (SEU) caters for intellectually impaired children from Prep to Grade 7. Along with teaching in the key primary learning areas within the academic curriculum, the SEU also provides each child with a strong emphasis on living skills (cooking, laundry and social skills) and a continuing development of physical skills (such as bowling, skating and gymnastics).
