Alcohol and Drug
The Day Withdrawal Service offers medically supervised alcohol withdrawal treatment on a day patient basis.
Treatment is delivered and monitored by AODS nursing and medical officers.
The program offers participants the opportunity to safely withdraw from alcohol and develop knowledge and skills to support relapse prevention and assistance to engage in longer term treatment and support where required.
DWS is a 10-day program.
How to engage with our services:
The client can:
self-refer by calling 4226 2777
be provided with a GP letter of referral and which they can present to AODS at 8 Aplin Street
self-present to 8 Aplin Street for intake
