Access offers a range of services and programs which support migrants and refugees in building their own capacity and independence and in addition links them with services and communities. Depending on the program, support can often be provided from point of arrival into the country, up until when clients feel settled in the community. Our Community Development team uses a community engagement approach that provides holistic service delivery, where clients are valued and actively participate in the activities offered by Access. This approach ensures a single point of engagement with community leaders, groups and individuals, so that the needs of the communities are addressed during their settlement or transition journey.
