Camooweal clinic is a nurse lead clinic which has a Doctor visit on Tuesdays from RFDS. We provide after hours emergency care and Ambulance service. The nurses at the clinic are very experienced practitioners and consult with RFDS as required. they will complete assessments, treat as per protocols and refer as required.
There are a number of visiting services including,
Allied health visiting services once a month and appointments can be made by contacting North West Remote Health.
Child health services are provide fortnightly by RFDS nurse.
Chronic disease management is provided by nursing staff in consultation with RFDS doctors and specialists from Mount Isa and Townsville.
