Home Assist Secure is a State Government program administered in Queensland by the Department of Housing and Public Works. Home Assist Secure service aims to remove some of the practical housing-related difficulties experienced by older people and people with a disability who wish to remain living in their home.
The service provides free information and referrals about home maintenance, falls prevention, repairs and modifications and home security. Subsidised assistance for minor home maintenance, repairs and modifications which relate to health, safety and security, is also available for eligible clients.
Covers Bribie Island, Bribie Pines Estate, Godwin Beach, Ningi, Pebble Beach, and Sandstone Point area.

To be eligible for free information and referrals, people must be 60 years and over, or of any age with a disability, and live in their own home or in rental housing. To be eligible for subsidised assistance, people must be Pensioner Concession Card holder.
